By default the container runs as the root user and since the source tree
is bind mounted into the container, any file is created and owned by the
root user which harms ergonomics when working outside of the container
environment. This maps the root user within the container to the uid of
the user outside of the container so files are not owned by root.

This was something that existed for some scripting support for a totally
unrelated project and when I copied this script I failed to remove it so
this removes it. Build containers for Xen are best as ephemeral
environments and should just utilizes Docker's default container naming
behavior.

This adds a script that can be used to do builds easily within the
defined containers under the automation directory. These containers live
in the public GitLab registry under the xen-project namespace. The
script can be executed a number of ways but the default is to drop you
at a bash shell within a Debian Stretch container at the top level of
the source tree.

We don't need to specify /bin/bash in the entry point rune, otherwise
non-interactive invocation of the container would fail with something
like:

+ export CONTAINER=registry.gitlab.com/xen-project/xen/debian:stretch-i386
+ CONTAINER=registry.gitlab.com/xen-project/xen/debian:stretch-i386
+ cd /local/work/COMMITTER/xen-32.git
+ git fetch origin
+ con git reset --hard origin/staging

a75703b2f0 unconditionally enabled
building of rombios and stubdoms but unfortunately these two pieces do
not build successfully with clang. rombios unconditionally depends on
the build of iPXE and upstream iPXE does not support building with
clang. Similiarly the build of the stubdoms depends on the build of
newlib which does not support being built with clang.

Added a GitLab CI config which has a lot more flexibility to allow us to
test a lot more distro configurations than Travis can and even build
test on FreeBSD. This includes a modified copy of scripts/travis-build
that is expected to diverge future over time as we build more than what
Travis is currently building.

Add a basic README explaining the containers and how people can use them
to locally test with if they see an error in CI and want to reproduce it
locally. Added a makefile to help with building and pushing the
containers to the container registry.
