There are some internals in the libxenstore interface which should be
removed.
Move those functions into xs_lib.c and the related definitions into
xs_lib.h. Remove the functions from the mapfile. Add xs_lib.o to
xenstore_client as some of the internal functions are needed there.
Bump the libxenstore version to 4.0 as the change is incompatible.
Note that the removed functions should not result in any problem as
they ought to be used by xenstored or xenstore_client only.
Avoid an enum as part of a structure as the size of an enum is
compiler implementation dependent.

Allow GCC to analyze the format printf for xprintf() and
barf{,_perror}().
Take the opportunity to define __noreturn to make the prototype for
barf{,_perror})() easier to read.
Also document why 'extern' is used for xprintf().

At the moment PRINTF_ATTRIBUTE() is defined in two places:
- tdb.h: Defined as a NOP
- talloc.h: Defined as a NOP for GCC older than 3.0 otherwise will
add the attribute to check the printf format
Xen requires to build with minimum GCC 4.1 and we want to check the
printf format for all the printf-like functions.
Only implement PRINTF_ATTRIBUTE() once in utils.h and drop the
conditional check for GCC < 3.0.

Dump the complete Xenstore status to a file (daemon case) or memory
(stubdom case).
As we don't know the exact length of the needed area in advance we are
using an anonymous rather large mapping in stubdom case, which will
use only virtual address space until accessed. And as we are writing
the area in a sequential manner this is fine. As the initial size we
are choosing the double size of the memory allocated via talloc(),
which should be more than enough.

This patch fix "multiple definition of `xprintf'" (or xgt_handle)

These are the error reported:
gcc xs_tdb_dump.o utils.o tdb.o talloc.o -o xs_tdb_dump

A difference that I noticed with earlier version of the build chain is
that before, I had:
$ nm xs_tdb_dump.o | grep xprintf
0000000000000008 C xprintf
And now, it's:
0000000000000000 B xprintf
With the patch apply, the symbol isn't in xs_tdb_dump.o anymore.

connection, plus interleaving of transactional and
non-transactional accesses. A transaction identifier is added
to the xsd_sockmsg header structure (0 means 'not in context
of a transaction'). The user and kernel xs interfaces accept
a pointer to a transaction handle where appropriate --
currently this is directly cast to an integer identifier in
the client library / kernel driver, but will allow for keeping
extra dynamic client-side state in future if we need to.
The transaction mutex has now gone. It's replaced with a
read-write mutex, but this is only acquired for exclusive
access during suspend/resume, to ensure there are no in-progress
transactions.
