Set CONFIG_LEAF_DIR with configure to give control if needed. The
check for the correct value if the option is not specified is tricky.
Since other packages (such as grub2) started to populate also
/etc/default/ a given system may have both directories.
Use "default" only if /etc/sysconfig does not exist. "sysconfig"
remains the default.
Move the variable from StdGNU.mk to Linux.mk because thats the only
place where it is used.

The current usage of LIBEXEC is bogus. It describes the directory for
private xen executables. Other places create their own, similar
libexecdir path as $prefix/lib/xen/*.
Additional two other variables are used to describe similar paths:
PRIVATE_BINDIR and PRIVATE_PREFIX
The autoconf documentation refers to libexec as a directory for
executables and stuff which is called by other programs, not by the
user.
Adjust all places that want libexecdir as a target path. LIBEXEC refers
now to the base directory. Three convenience variables are used to refer
to paths to private binaries, libs and include files.
In the systemd files LIBEXEC_BIN is substituted, so this variable has to
be present in autoconf. All other variables are expanded in Paths.mk
because they are only used in Makefiles.
Most users of LIBEXEC are updated to use LIBEXEC_BIN because that is
what they want.
Users of PRIVATE_BINDIR are updated to use LIBEXEC_BIN because that is
what they want. PRIVATE_BINDIR and PRIVATE_PREFIX usage is removed by
this patch, in favour of LIBXEC_BIN and LIBEXEC
An internal libxl function was removed. A single helper to retrieve
LIBEXEC_BIN remains.
As suggested by the autoconf documentation, configure appends the
package name to LIBEXEC to make sure the provided directory really
refers to xen. This makes sure "make uninstall" preserves the real
libexecdir.

Also moves xc_dom.h to include as it is used often by other xen tools.
Use the new include subdirectories to build Xen tools, qemu-xen and
stubdoms.
Add the old libxc include path to the programs that need it to build,
on a case by case basis and commeting that they shouldn't require
internal libxc headers to build.

file instead of shell style syntax. Upcoming changes will use this macro

genpath is a detail of buildmakevars2file. Replace the dependency to
genpath with the actual buildmakevars2file target. This change by
itself does not fix any bug. Upcoming changes will add dependencies to
$(target), but no rule exist to create $(target).
To force a rebuild of the $(1) rule the target now depends on the
existing .phony target. This dummy target is already used elsewhere in
the code.
No change in behaviour is expected by this patch.

We have four different external trees, and four different naming
conventions for specifying the URL, where they live, and what revision
to check out.
Normalize config options on the following bases:
- QEMU_UPSTREAM
- QEMU_TRADITIONAL
- SEABIOS_UPSTREAM
- OVMF_UPSTREAM
The following suffixes for all trees:
- _URL : A remote repository to clone from
- _REVISION : The revision to check out
And the following suffixes for the qemu trees:
- _INTREE : The location of an inlined tree (for tarball releases)
- _LOC : Where to actually look (either a directory or a URL)
The following parameters are still supported for backwards
compatibility:
- CONFIG_QEMU (=> QEMU_TRADITIONAL_LOC)
- QEMU_REMOTE (=> QEMU_TRADITIONAL_URL)
- QEMU_TAG (=> QEMU_TRADITIONAL_REVISION)
- SEABIOS_UPSTREAM_TAG (=> SEABIOS_UPSTREAM_REVISION)

Currently xen, qemu-xen, and qemu-xen-traditional are kept in separate
repositories, but when we release them as a tarball, qemu-xen and
qemu-xen-traditional are in-lined into the tools/ directory.
In order to make this "just work", at the moment developer doing the
release manually modifies Config.mk as part of the relase process so
that CONFIG_QEMU and QEMU_UPSTREAM_URL point into the tools/ directory
instead.
Modify Config.mk to automatically check there before trying a remote
repository.

With the hex byte emission we were taking away a good part of
flexibility from the compiler, as for simplicity reasons these were
built using fixed operands. All half way modern build environments
would allow using the mnemonics (but we can't disable the hex variants
yet, since the binutils around at the time gcc 4.1 got released didn't
support these yet).
I didn't convert __vmread() yet because that would, just like for
__vmread_safe(), imply converting to a macro so that the output operand
can be the caller supplied variable rather than an intermediate one. As
that would require touching all invocation points of __vmread() (of
which there are quite a few), I'd first like to be certain the approach
is acceptable; the main question being whether the now conditional code
might be considered to cause future maintenance issues, and the second
being that of parameter/argument ordering (here I made __vmread_safe()
match __vmwrite(), but one could also take the position that read and
write should use the inverse order of one another, in line with the
actual instruction operands).
Additionally I was quite puzzled to find that all the asm()-s involved
here have memory clobbers - what are they needed for? Or can they be
dropped at least in some cases?
