Andrew Cooper 869d9ca2d3 docs: Support building pdfs from markdown using pandoc
The Xen command line parameters document is far more useful as an indexed pdf
than it is as unindexed html webpage.

Ian Campbell 28d9b22d1b docs: remove stray CONFIG_XENDs and configure option from docs.
These were added by 7dbfc2f8b0 "docs: Honour --{en, dis}able-xend when
building docs" between v1 and the (eventually committed) v2 of 9e8672f1c3
"tools: remove xend and associated python modules" and were missed when
rebasing for v2.

Andrew Cooper 7dbfc2f8b0 docs: Honour --{en, dis}able-xend when building docs
If a user has specified --disable-xend, they wont want the manpages either.

Propagating this parameters requires reorganising the way in which the
makefile chooses which documents to build.

There is now a split of {MAN1,MAN5,MARKDOWN,TXT}SRC-y to select which
documentation to build, which is separate from the patsubst section which
generates appropriate paths to trigger the later rules.

The manpages are quite easy to split between xend, xl and xenstore, and have
been. Items from misc/ are much harder and been left.

Ian Campbell de333b6945 configure: Regenerate with autoconf 2.69
This is the version from Debian Wheezy which is what both Ian Jackson and
myself run on our workstations. As committers it is useful to minimise
regeneration noise.

This is purely a run of autogen.sh. I have not tried to build the result.

Christoph Egger 2569c54743 docs: make 'gmake dist-docs' work
doc: buildsystem fixes

- use correct pathes (make gmake dist-docs from toplevel directory work)
- configure detects perl as tools/configure does

Ian Campbell 13d68fab40 tools+stubdom: install under /usr/local by default.
Now that the hotplug scripts have been fixed to remove hardcoded paths lets
try this again. From 26470:acaf29203cf9:

This is the defacto (or FHS mandated?) standard location for software
built from source, in order to avoid clashing with packaged software
which is installed under /usr/bin etc.

I think there is benefit in having Xen's install behave more like the
majority of other OSS software out there.

The major downside here is in the transition from 4.2 to 4.3 where
people who have built from source will innevitably discover breakage
because 4.3 no longer overwrites stuff in /usr like it used to so they
pickup old stale bits from /usr instead of new stuff from /usr/local.

Packages will use ./configure --prefix=/usr or whatever helper macro
their package manager gives them. I have confirmed that doing this
results in the same list of installed files as before this patch was
	applied.

The hypervisor remains in /boot/ and there is no intention to move it.

Ian Campbell 748e38f471 tools: revert to installing in /usr
26470:acaf29203cf9 missed a bunch of hardcoded paths, e.g. in the
initscripts. I think at this juncture it is appropriate to revert
this change and try again after some more testing.
