tools/libs/light in order to use the generic library build environment.
The closely related sources for libxl-save-helper and the libxl test
environment are being moved, too.

There is no reason why libxenstat is not placed in the tools/libs
directory.
At the same time move xenstat.h to a dedicated include directory
in tools/libs/stat in order to follow the same pattern as the other
libraries in tools/libs.
As now xentop is the only left directory in xenstat move it directly
under tools and get rid of tools/xenstat.
Fix some missing prototype errors (add one prototype and make two
functions static).

There is no reason why libxenstore is not placed in the tools/libs

The common files between libxenstore and xenstored are kept in the

required for replacing "xenctrl" by "xencontrol" in the

Today tools/libxc needs to be built after tools/libs as libxenctrl is
depending on some libraries in tools/libs. This in turn blocks moving
other libraries depending on libxenctrl below tools/libs.
So carve out libxenctrl from tools/libxc and move it into
tools/libs/ctrl.

In practice, qemu opens a great many fds. Tracking them all down and
playing whack-a-mole is unattractive. It is also potentially fragile
in that future changes might accidentally undo our efforts.
Instead, we are going to teach all the Xen libraries how to register
their fds so that they can be neutered with one qemu call.
Right now, nothing will go wrong if some tries to link without
-ltoolcore, but that will stop working as soon as the first other Xen
library starts to register. So this patch will be followed by the
stubdom build update, and should be followed by a
MINIOS_UPSTREAM_REVISION updated.
Sadly qemu upstream's configuration arrangements are too crude, being
keyed solely off the Xen version number. So they cannot provide
forward/backward build compatibility across changes in xen-unstable,
like this one. qemu patches to link against xentoolcore should be
applied in qemu upstream so avoid the qemu build breaking against the
released version of Xen 4.10.

Running "make uninstall" does not remove all installed files, a
situation which might cause link related issues if xen is re-installed
in a different location.
In order to make uninstall correctly remove the files it is best
the process should be done recursively by mirroring each "install"
target with an "uninstall" who removes the installed files.
An exception to this rule is uninstalling the files produced by
"qemu-xen-dir-remote" and "qemu-xen-traditional-dir", which are external
to the project. These projects do not implement an "uninstall" target so
the files have to be removed manually.

The new xendevicemodel library is intended to be used by all Xen device
models such that the only hypercall that use will be the dm_op hypercall
added by commit 524a98c2.
This patch adds the boilerplate for the new library, with only open() and
close() entry points, and calls to those from libxenctrl in preparation
for the compat layer added by a subsequent patch.

libxenforeignmemory will provide a stable API and ABI for mapping
foreign domain memory (subject to appropriate privileges).
The new library exposes an interface equivalent to
xc_map_foreign_memory_bulk, which all the other
xc_map_foreign_memory_* functions (which remain in libxc) are
implemented in terms of.
Upon request (via #define XC_WANT_COMPAT_MAP_FOREIGN_API) libxenctrl
will provide a compat API for the old names. This is used by qemu-xen
and qemu-trad as well as various in tree things (which required
de-dupping various #includes in some too to get the #define before the
first).

libxencall will provide a stable API and ABI for calling hypercalls
(although those hypercalls themselves may not have a stable API). As
well as the hypercall buffer infrastructure needed in order to safely
provide pointer arguments to hypercalls.
libxenctrl encapsulates a instance of this interface, so users of that
library are not currently subjected to any actual changes. However all
hypercalls made internally by libxc now use the correct interface. It
is expected that most users of this library will be other libraries
providing a higher level interface, rather than applications directly.
Only the basic functionality to allocate hypercall safe memory is
moved, the type safe stuff and bounce buffers remain in libxc.
Note that the functionality to map foreign pages using privcmd is not
yet moved, meaning that an xc_interface will now contain two open
privcmd file descriptors. Foreign memory mapping is logically separate
functionality and will be moved into its own library.
The new library uses a version script to ensure that only expected
symbols are exported and to version them such that ABI guarantees can
be kept in the future.

libxengnttab will provide a stable API and ABI for accessing the
grant table devices.
The functions are moved into the xengnt{tab, shr} namespace to make a
clean break from libxc and avoid ambiguity regarding which interfaces
are stable.
All in-tree users are updated to use the new names.
Upon request (via #define XC_WANT_COMPAT_GNTTAB_API) libxenctrl will
provide a compat API for the old names. This is used by qemu-xen for
the time being. qemu-xen-traditional is updated in lockstep.
This leaves a few grant table related functions which go via privcmd
(GNTTABOP) rather than ioctls on the /dev/xen/gnt* devices in
libxenctrl. Specifically:
- xc_gnttab_get_version
- xc_gnttab_map_table_v1
- xc_gnttab_map_table_v2
- xc_gnttab_op
These functions do not appear to be needed by qemu-dm, qemu-pv
(provision of device model to HVM guests and PV backends respectively)
or by libvchan suggesting they are not needed by non-toolstack uses of
event channels.

probably redundant.

In attempting to disaggregate libxenctrl I found that many of the
pieces were going to want access to this library, so split it out (as
it probably should always have been).
Various build adjustments are needed. In particular things which use
xtl_* themselves now need to explicity link against the library.
This has a nice side effect which is that users of libxl no longer
need to link against libxenctrl just to create a logger, which was
counter to the principal that applications using libxl shouldn't be
required to look behind the curtain. This means that xl no longer
links against libxenctrl.
