Andrew Cooper 583a0fb0fa tools/libxc: Move xc_version() out of xc_private.c into its own file
kexec-tools uses xc_version(), meaning that it is not a private API. As we're
going to extend the functionality substantially, move it to its own file.

Alejandro Vallejo b24a0f3c5e tools: Remove all DECLARE_* op macros in xc
These macros were hiding that the ops are not zero-initialized by the
toolstack. This is needlessly opaque for something so simple, so this patch
removes them and replaces them with explicit zero-initialising versions.

The patch also removes PHYSDEV_OP from there, as that seems to be an old
dead macro.

Tamas K Lengyel 108d145df8 tools/libs/ctrl: rename and export do_memory_op as xc_memory_op
Make the do_memory_op function accessible to tools linking with libxc.
Similar functions are already available for both domctl and sysctl. As part
of this patch we also change the input 'cmd' to be unsigned int to accurately
reflect what the hypervisor expects.

Jan Beulich 6f02d1ea4a libxc: use multicall for memory-op on Linux (and Solaris)
Some sub-functions, XENMEM_maximum_gpfn and XENMEM_maximum_ram_page in
particular, can return values requiring more than 31 bits to represent.
Hence we cannot issue the hypercall directly when the return value of
ioctl() is used to propagate this value. This is the case for Linux
and Solaris (and hence needs changing), while the BSDs avoid using the
return value for dual purposes altogether, and MiniOS already wraps all
hypercalls in a multicall.

Juergen Gross 77a09716f2 tools/libs: merge xenctrl_dom.h into xenguest.h
Today xenctrl_dom.h is part of libxenctrl as it is included by
xc_private.c. This seems not to be needed, so merge xenctrl_dom.h into
xenguest.h where its contents really should be.

Replace all #includes of xenctrl_dom.h by xenguest.h ones or drop them
if xenguest.h is already included.

Juergen Gross af6c78d9dc tools: move libxenctrl below tools/libs
Today tools/libxc needs to be built after tools/libs as libxenctrl is
depending on some libraries in tools/libs. This in turn blocks moving
other libraries depending on libxenctrl below tools/libs.

So carve out libxenctrl from tools/libxc and move it into
tools/libs/ctrl.
