kfraser@localhost.localdomain 2b9c0e336c [PCI] xend parses the user-space PCI backend policy files and sends
the corresponding fields to the PCI bus manager via sysfs nodes:

/sys/bus/pci/drivers/pciback/quirks
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/pciback/permissive

xend reads the policy file every time it creates a new domain that was
assigned a PCI device.

kfraser@localhost.localdomain 2fdede6154 Revert c/s 10651: "prevent double uuid use". Breaks localhost
migration, since old and new domains can coexist at same time
with same uuid.

Possibly this patch could be accepted if xend were to be able to
deal with localhost migration (and save/restore, which can also
occasionally race).

kfraser@localhost.localdomain a30dab89d4 [XM][ACM] Add xm subcommands to work with security resource labels.
This patch adds new xm subcommands to support working with resource
labels. The new subcommands are 'xm resources', 'xm rmlabel', 'xm
getlabel' and 'xm dry-run'. In addition, the 'xm addlabel' subcommand
now uses an updated syntax to support labeling both domains and
resources. See the xm man page for details on each subcommand.

Beyond the new subcommands, this patch allows users to immediately see
when security checks will fail by pushing some basic security checking
into the beginning of 'xm create' and 'xm block-attach'. ACM security
attributes for block devices are added to XenStore in order to support
the final security enforcement, which will be performed in the kernel
and included in a separate patch.

anthony@rhesis.austin.ibm.com 22737f2517 Use an environmental variable (XM_SERVER) to determine XML-RPC URI.
This allows users to invoke xm against a remote server. This is much more
useful though for exercising XML-RPC transports with xm-test though since
xm-test will continue to (mostly) function if the URI is localhost.

kaf24@firebug.cl.cam.ac.uk cd9d70925c [HVM][DM] Backport the USB support from QEMU 0.8.1 to the current Xen
device model. To support USB there are two new optional config lines
that can be added to the guest config file:

    usb=1
        This will enable USB without defining a specific USB device.
        This option is assumed and not needed if the `usbdevice' option
        is given.

    usbdevice='device'
        This will enable USB and also enable support for the given device.
        Currently, the only two devices are `mouse' (a PS/2 mouse) and
        `tablet' (an absolute pointing device). The advantage of `tablet'
        is that Windows guests will automatically recognize and support this
        device so specifying the config line:

                usbdevice='tablet'

        will create a mouse that works transparently with Windows guests
        under VNC. (Linux doesn't recognize the USB tablet yet so Linux
        guests under VNC will still need the Summagraphics emulation.)
