The sole use of xc_dom_translated() and xc_dom_p2m() outside of the domain
builder is for libxl_dom() to translate the console and xenstore pfns back
into useful values. PV guest pfns are only interesting to the domain builder,
and gfns are the address space used by all other hypercalls.
Renaming the fields in xc_dom_image is deliberate, as it will cause
out-of-tree users of the dombuilder to notice the different semantics.
Correct the terminology throughout xc_dom_gnttab{_hvm,}_seed(), which are all
using gfns despite the existing variable names.

grub_printf() is supporting only a very limited number of formats.
Especially some error messages suffer from that, e.g. %lx won't work.
Switch to use printk() for error messages instead.

When trying to boot a kernel with the p2m list not mapped by the
initial kernel mapping it can happen that pvgrub is failing as it is
keeping some page tables mapped.
Unmap the additional page tables created for the special p2m mapping
will avoid this failure.

In attempting to disaggregate libxenctrl I found that many of the
pieces were going to want access to this library, so split it out (as
it probably should always have been).
Various build adjustments are needed. In particular things which use
xtl_* themselves now need to explicity link against the library.
This has a nice side effect which is that users of libxl no longer
need to link against libxenctrl just to create a logger, which was
counter to the principal that applications using libxl shouldn't be
required to look behind the curtain. This means that xl no longer
links against libxenctrl.
The new library uses a version script to ensure that only expected
symbols are exported and to version them such that ABI guarantees can
be kept in the future.

Guest memory allocation in the domain builder of libxc is done via
virtual addresses only. In order to be able to support preallocated
areas not virtually mapped reorganize the memory allocator to keep
track of allocated pages globally and in allocated segments.
This requires an interface change of the allocate callback of the
domain builder which currently is using the last mapped virtual
address as a parameter. This is no problem as the only user of this
callback is stubdom/grub/kexec.c using this virtual address to
calculate the last used pfn.

This adds an optional argument --vtpm-label=<label> to the pv-grub
command line. If specified, a vtpm device must be connected to the
pv-grub domain and the backend of this device must have the given XSM
label (which may start with a * to indicate a wildcard). Verifying the
label of the vTPM before sending measurements prevents a disaggregated
control domain that has access to xenstore but not to the guest domains
from causing the measurements performed by pv-grub to be discarded,
allowing the forgery of arbitrary kernel measurements in the TPM.

Allowing user supplied kernels of arbitrary sizes, especially during
decompression, can swallow up dom0 memory leading to either virtual
address space exhaustion in the builder process or allocation
failures/OOM killing of both toolstack and unrelated processes.
We disable these checks when building in a stub domain for pvgrub
since this uses the guest's own memory and is isolated.
Decompression of gzip compressed kernels and ramdisks has been safe
since 14954:58205257517d (Xen 3.1.0 onwards).
This is XSA-25 / CVE-2012-4544.

properties of the code but check them as a belt-and-braces measure.

Introduction of Linux Kernel git commit
ceefccc93932b920a8ec6f35f596db05202a12fe (x86: default
CONFIG_PHYSICAL_START and CONFIG_PHYSICAL_ALIGN to 16 MB) revealed
deeply hidden bug in pv-grub. During kernel load stage dom->p2m_host[]
list has been incorrectly initialized.
At the beginning of kernel load stage dom->p2m_host[] list is
populated with current PFN->MFN layout. Later during memory allocation
(memory is allocated page by page in kexec_allocate()) page order is
changed to establish linear layout in new domain. It is done by
exchanging subsequent MFNs with newly allocated MFNs. dom->p2m_host[]
list is indexed by currently requested PFN (it is incremented from 0)
and PFN of newly allocated paged. If PFN of newly allocated page is
less than currently requested PFN then earlier allocated MFN is
overwritten which leads to domain crash later. This patch corrects
that issue. If PFN of newly allocated page is less then currently
requested PFN then relevant PFN/MFN pair is properly calculated and
usual exchange occurs later.

This patch eliminate the global variables in libxenctrl (used for
logging and error reporting).
Instead the information which was in the global variables is now in a
new xc_interface* opaque structure, which xc_interface open returns
instead of the raw file descriptor; furthermore, logging is done via
xentoollog.
There are three new parameters to xc_interface_open to control the
logging, but existing callers can just pass "0" for all three to get
the old behaviour.
All libxc callers have been adjusted accordingly.
