And clarify that the rule about omitting braces for single statements
is optional (it is even contradicted by the example).

It takes a bit of thinking to parse the original statement. It looks
like it is missing an ',' - right after the 'braced' to make it
obvious that:
if (X)
return XYZ;
is OK, while multiple conditionals require braces.
Changing the 'apart from' with 'except' makes it more obvious
(I hope).

This patch modifies the implentation of libxl__xs_mknod() to use XS_WRITE
rather than XS_MKDIR since passing an empty value to the former will
ensure that the path is both existent and empty upon return, rather than
merely existent. The function return type is also changed to a libxl
error value rather than a boolean, it's declaration is accordingly moved
into the 'checked' section in libxl_internal.h, and a comment is added to
clarify its semantics.
This patch also contains as small whitespace fix in the definition of
libxl__xs_mknod() and the addition of 'ok' to CODING_STYLE as the
canonical variable name for holding return values from boolean functions.

GC* assume an existing gc in scope, which means they can't be passed
NOGC. Instead recommend the use of the underlying functions with NOGC,
noting that this is excepitonal.

[ ijc -- refer to libxl__calloc not (nonexistent) libxl__alloc ]
FILLZERO is a macro for memset(&foo,0,sizeof(foo)). It eliminates the
possiblity to make the error memset(&foo,0,sizeof(&foo)).
No callers yet, but document it in CODING_STYLE. (In accordance with
existing libxl policy, I haven't gone through all existing possible
call sites.)

Document that:
- the existing code is not all confirming yet
- code should conform
- we will sometimes accept patches with nonconforming elements if
they don't make matters worse.

libxenlight and xl grew enough to need a CODING_STYLE, that I blatantly
copied from qemu and linux, just adding few specific modifications.
The result should be as less controversial as possible, mostly
documenting what we are already doing.
