Keir Fraser 036e6bd11b Make tools/Makefile cross-friendly 
Pass Xen cross-compilation options through to ioemu.
Export CROSS_SYS_ROOT for use by scripts.  Unexport
IOEMU_DIR since it isn't used outside of the Makefile.

Keir Fraser 8731b7b939 pv-qemu: Remove standalone xenfb code 
This patch removes all trace of the standalone paravirt framebuffer
daemon. With this there is no longer any requirement for
LibVNCServer. Everything is handled by the QEMU device model. The
xenfb.c and xenfb.h files are now moved (without code change) into
tools/ioemu/hw/ & the temporary Makefile hack from the previous patch
is removed.

Ian Campbell 2c312d03cd Build libflask unconditionally since the python low-level tools 
require it and it does't seem to pull in any major dependencies.

The alternative would have been to hack tools/python/setup.py to
conditionally compile the flask stuff.

Ewan Mellor 7169017f84 Make the xenfb tools an optional part of the build, as they introduce new 
dependencies (libvncserver and libsdl devel packages).  Enable them with
XENFB_TOOLS=y.

Steven Smith a5ae44fcdf This is Anthony Liguori's virtual framebuffer forward ported and 
extensively hacked based on feedback from xen-devel.

Its architecture is comparable to the common split device driver
architecture: xenfb and xenkbd modules serve as frontend in domU, and
the user space vncfb or sdlfb process serves as backend in dom0.

Tim Deegan cddc1d5a09 Add libfsimage, a C library for reading files from filesystem images. 
Initial support is provided for Solaris UFS, ext2 (both using libext2fs
and not), and reiserfs.

kaf24@localhost.localdomain b643712258 [XEND] Move all of the various log files created by xen to 
be under /var/log/xen instead of under /var/log directly.  This has
the advantage of cleaning things up a little and also can make it
easier to restrict the permissions needed by xend.

kaf24@firebug.cl.cam.ac.uk 1a57f91193 [IA64] Re-enable tools/xcutils build on ia64. We now have 
save/restore working in the xen-ia64-unstable.hg thanks to some
excellent work by Tristan.  This simply splits the xcutils components
from the x86-ish linux_save/restore files in a way that should be
friendly to powerpc.

kaf24@firebug.cl.cam.ac.uk f6d93de51e The attached patch removes all of the console handling code from Xend 
and changes xm to simply exec /usr/libexec/xen/xc_console.

I've done a pretty good amount of testing and this seems to clear up all 
of the Xend console issues in bugzilla.

This is a pretty big change to Xend though with a lot of deleted code so 
I'd appreciate if people more familiar with the Xend codebase could look 
through it critically.

In addition to the patch, the following files are no longer used:

tools/python/xen/util/console_client.py
tools/python/xen/xend/XendConsole.py
tools/python/xen/xend/server/SrvConsole.py
tools/python/xen/xend/server/SrvConsoleDir.py
tools/python/xen/xend/server/console.py
