In commit d36a3734a ("xl: fix migration failure with xl migrate
--debug"), message is printed to stderr for both debug mode
and dryrun mode. That caused rdname() in xendomains fails to parse
domain name since it's expecting input from xl's stdout.
So this patch separates those two cases. If xl is running in debug mode,
then message is printed to stderr; if xl is running in dryrun mode and
debug is not enabled, message is printed to stdout. This will fix
xendomains and other scripts that use "xl create --dryrun", as well as
not re-introducing the old bug fixed in d36a3734a.

Migrations with xl migrate --debug will fail because debugging
information from the receiving process is written to the stdout

migration will fail as the sending process receives an unexpected

This is not a proper fix, since it fails to call

If you add enough PCI devices then all mmio may not fit below 4G
which may not be the layout the user wanted. This allows you to
increase the below 4G address space that PCI devices can use and
therefore in more cases not have any mmio that is above 4G.
There are real PCI cards that do not support mmio over 4G, so if you
want to emulate them precisely, you may also need to increase the
space below 4G for them. There are drivers for these cards that also
do not work if they have their mmio space mapped above 4G.
This allows growing the MMIO hole to the size needed.
This may help with using pci passthru and HVM.
In the tools this is named mmio_hole_memkb.

The root cause of this is in Xen. getdomaininfo() has no way of expressing
"this domain has no vcpus". Previously, info->max_vcpu_id would be returned
uninitialised in such a case.
Unfortunately, setting it to 0 as a default is not appropriate. A max_vcpu_id
of 0 and nr_online_cpus of 0 is the valid state for a single vcpu domain which
is in the process of being destroyed.
As all components are required to add 1 to max_vcpu_id to get the number of
vcpus, an id of ~0U is not valid to be used. Explicitly define this as an
invalid max vcpu value, and use it to express "no vcpus" in getdomaininfo()
In libxl, the issue is seen as libxl_list_vcpu() attempts to use the
uninitialised domaininfo.max_vcpu_id for memory allocation.
Check domaininfo.max_vcpu_id against the new sentinel value
XEN_INVALID_MAX_VCPU_ID, and return early. This means that it is now valid
for libxl_list_vcpu() to return NULL for a domain which lacks any vcpus.
As part of this change, remove the pointless call to libxl_get_max_cpus(),
whose returned value is unconditionally clobbered in the for() loop.

This patch allows the user to disable any of these features by

The following commits introduced the time reference counter MSR and
TSC/APIC frequency MSRs into the viridian feature set respectively:
e36cd2cdc984657efd91
The time reference counter MSR feature was then reverted by commit
1cd4fab14c
because a flaw in the implementation meant the counter was reset on
migration.
All of these changes were made without any addtional options being
added to the VM configuration, or any compatibility checks being made
in the domain save/restore code. Hence setting the single boolean
'viridian' option in the VM configuration yields a different set of
features depending on which version of Xen the VM is started on, and the
feature set can change across migration (so new MSRs can magically appear).
This patch grandfathers in the current viridian features set and calls them
the 'base' and 'freq' feature sets. HVM_PARAM_VIRIDIAN is re-purposed as
a feature mask. The hypervisor has only ever allowed it ot be set to 0
or 1, so the presence of the base and freq sets are indicated by setting
bit 0. The freq set can then be turned off by setting bit 1, thus
restoring the pre-Xen-4.4 base set. Newly implemented viridian features
can be optionally enabled in future by setting further bits.
The viridian option in xl.cfg(5) has also been changed to a list so
that the sets can be individually enabled or disabled. For compatibility,
if the option is specified as a boolean, then a true (1) value will enable
the base and freq sets and a false (0) value will not enable any
enlightenments.
This patch also alters the allowed write accesses to HVM_PARAM_VIRIDIAN.
Currently there is nothing to stop the guest writing this value (which,
while harmless to anything else, should not happen) and nothing to
stop a toolstack from setting the value back to zero whilst the guest is
running, causing CPUID leaves to disappear and MSR accesses to start
causing GPFs in the guest. Both of these possibilities are now disallowed:
Once the parameter is set to a non-zero value it may not be modified (only
re-written with the same value), and guests no longer have any write
access.

What it means is that VCPU 0 must be pinned to PCPU 3,4 and VCPU 1

This patch introduces an array of libxl_bitmap called "vcpu_hard_affinity"
in libxl IDL to preserve VCPU to PCPU mapping. This is necessary for libxl
to preserve all information to construct a domain.
The array accommodates at most max_vcpus elements, each containing the
affinity of the respective VCPU. If less than max_vcpus bitmaps are
present, the VCPUs associated to the missing elements will just stay with
their default affinity (they'll be free to execute on every PCPU).
In case both this new field, and the already existing cpumap field are
used, the content of the array will override what's set in cpumap. (In
xl, we make sure that this never happens in xl, by using only one of the
two at any given time.)
The proper macro to mark the API change (called
LIBXL_HAVE_BUILDINFO_VCPU_AFFINITY_ARRAYS) is added but it is commented.
It will be uncommented by the patch in the series that completes the
process, by adding the "vcpu_soft_affinity" array. This is because, after
all, these two fields are being added sort-of together, and are very
very similar, in both meaning and usage, so it makes sense for them to
share the same marker.

Make space a new cpumap in vcpu_info, called cpumap_soft,
for retrieving soft affinity, and amend the relevant API
accordingly.
libxl_set_vcpuaffinity() now takes two cpumaps, one for hard
and one for soft affinity (LIBXL_API_VERSION is exploited to
retain source level backword compatibility). Either of the
two cpumap can be NULL, in which case, only the affinity
corresponding to the non-NULL cpumap will be affected.
Getting soft affinity happens indirectly (see, e.g.,
`xl vcpu-list'), as it is already for hard affinity).
This commit also introduces some logic to check whether the
affinity which will be used by Xen to schedule the vCPU(s)
does actually match with the cpumaps provided. In fact, we
want to allow every possible combination of hard and soft
affinity to be set, but we warn the user upon particularly
weird situations (e.g., hard and soft being disjoint sets
of pCPUs).
This very change also update the error handling for calls
to libxl_set_vcpuaffinity() in xl, as that can now be any
libxl error code, not just only -1.

This patch pushes parsing of "init_seclabel", "seclabel",
"device_model_stubdomain_seclabel" and "pool" down to libxl level.
Originally the parsing is done in xl level, which is not ideal because
libxl won't have the truely relevant information. With this patch libxl
holds important information by itself.
The libxl IDL is extended to hold the string of labels and pool name.
And if there those strings are present they take precedence over the
numeric representations.
As all relevant structures (libxl_dominfo etc) have a field called
X_name / X_label now, a string is also copied there so that callers
won't have to do ID to name / label translation.
In order to be compatible with users of older versions of libxl, this
patch also defines LIBXL_HAVE_SSID_LABEL and LIBXL_HAVE_CPUPOOL_NAME. If
they are defined, the respective strings are available. And if those
strings are not NULL, libxl will do the parsing and ignore the numeric
values.

The rationale behind this change is that, this option is actually not

We record the descriptive string for the child in the children[]
array, and use it when reporting the exit status.
The only functional change is that the message reported for the
migration child is changed from "migration target process" to
"migration transport process".

v2: Use minmsglevel_default to initialise minmsglevel.
If we ourselves are using cr-based overwriting for logging to stderr,
pass -t to the migration receiver so that it knows to do the same
(since its stderr is normally the pipe from sshd).
This requires, of course, that the receiver support that option. This
is OK from a compatibility point of view because we support migration
to newer, but not necessarily to older, versions. (If unsupported
backwards migration is still desired the use of -s "" allows the
remote invocation rune to be overridden by a command of one's choice.)
This fixes a regression introduced in 2f80ac9c0e, where migration
messages from the receiver would not use of the overwriting protocol.
