structure that is 64 bytes on x86. This ensures that indexing into
the array is fast (power-of-two size) and that accesses are cache
friendly (cache line size is usually 32 or 64 bytes).
Rename vcpu_data to vcpu_info, vcpu_time to vcpu_info.time.

Valgrind cannot see when a hypercall has initialised entries in a data
structure, so appropriate memsets have been placed before using dom0_op_t,
privcmd_hypercall_t, and a couple of miscellaneous blocks passed into this
layer. This initialises the block so that valgrind considers it to be valid,
but the data therein will be immediately overwritten by the hypercall, all
being well.
These changes are semantically neutral if -DVALGRIND is not set.

ia64/VTI. Now ia64/vti will create links to arch/x86/dm/vmx_vioapic.c
and include/x86/vmx_vlapic.h.
Firstly, a small change to common virtual IOAPIC model to be used by
both sides. Also some compilation fix to tools is included in first
one. Secondly, there are ia64-specific changes to hook to common
IOAPIC model.
Based on this patch upon latest xen-ia64-unstable tip, we can see
multiple domains working again on XEN/IA64, including both domU and
VTI domain simultaneously in run-time.

I thought a magic field in the start_info might be useful. I just chose
"Xen-<major>.<minor>", but feel free to change it.

longs. Thi sensures appropriate alignment for architectures
that require it, and also allows us to naturally support up
to 4096 event channels per 64-bit guest.
Moved 'n_vcpu' field from shared_info to start_info. Really it
ought to disappear altogether as the info can be derived from
xenstore.
Fix a weird bug in XendDomainInfo where 'vcpus' information for
a domain defaults to floating point value 1.0 rather than integer
1. This looks like a Python bug to me, but in any case it is
'fixed' by explicitly converting the default value to an integer.

PAE should be a *lot* more robust on systems that actually have more than 4GB thanks to all the various patches that went in today. I find it astounding that it ever appeared to work at all!

- page is moved next to store/console pages -- these are never put in the
free page pool by the domain
- xen_start_info is now a pointer to the original page instead of the copy

Add a new console interface using a seperate shared page and event channel
instead of passing the console input/output over control messages.
Update xenconsoled to use the new console interface.
Make xenconsoled garbage collect dying domains by subscribing to

The set of patches below add support for loading plan9's a.out
format using the linux builder. This is considerably simpler
than having a seperate builder, shares more code and should
be easier to maintain. Hopefully the original plan9 builder
can go away in the future.
I've been able to test this manually with vm-tools but am
still having some problems (unrelated I think) with xm.

Rationalise x86 CRn guest state into a ctrlreg array in the per-vcpu
context structure. Most noticeably this means the pt_base field has
gone away -- replaced by ctrlreg[3] (CR3). VCPU_guest_stts is also
gone -- it was never arch-independent anyway.

With the patch attached, we can bring up x86_64 domU to the point where
it tries to mount the root fs (see the log below). We are looking at
problems around blkif_connect at this point.

Remove generic 'fast trap' from the Xen public interfaces. Internally
within Xen, we automatically set up direct trap for int 0x80, which is
the only 'fast trap' vector that we ever supported anyway.
