same_vm is broken when the two main domains do not have targets. otvm
and targetvm are both missing, which means they get set to -1 and then
converted to empty strings:
++10697+ local targetvm=-1
++10697+ local otvm=-1
++10697+ otvm=
++10697+ othervm=/vm/cc97bc2f-3a91-43f7-8fbc-4cb92f90b4e4
++10697+ targetvm=
++10697+ local frontend_uuid=/vm/844dea4e-44f8-4e3e-8145-325132a31ca5
The final comparison returns true since the two empty strings match:
++10697+ '[' /vm/844dea4e-44f8-4e3e-8145-325132a31ca5 = /vm/cc97bc2f-3a91-43f7-8fbc-4cb92f90b4e4 -o '' = /vm/cc97bc2f-3a91-43f7-8fbc-4cb92f90b4e4 -o /vm/844dea4e-44f8-4e3e-8145-325132a31ca5 = '' -o '' = '' ']'
Replace -1 with distinct strings indicating the lack of a value and
remove the collescing to empty stings. The strings themselves will no
longer match, and that is correct.
++12364+ '[' /vm/844dea4e-44f8-4e3e-8145-325132a31ca5 = /vm/cc97bc2f-3a91-43f7-8fbc-4cb92f90b4e4 -o 'No target' = /vm/cc97bc2f-3a91-43f7-8fbc-4cb92f90b4e4 -o /vm/844dea4e-44f8-4e3e-8145-325132a31ca5 = 'No other target' -o 'No target' = 'No other target' ']'

The original same_vm check has two bugs. When stubdom is in use because
it relies on numeric domid to check if two domains are in fact the same
one. Another one is that the check would fail when two stubdoms are
checked against each other.
The first bug is fixed by using uuid to identify a domain. The second
bug is fixed by comparing the domains two stubdoms serve.

The only remaining mentions of these addresses are in COPYING files which I
haven't touched.
Some of the changed files are imports from elsewhere, however
filtering them out is tricky, I think it is tolerable to have these
files be modified here and then perhaps reverted on the next sync,
since it's only 1-2 lines and obvious what is going on.

currently the function same_vm in block-common.sh is the one
responsible for detecting if two block devices can be used at the same
time by two VMs. This can be allowed in few specific cases: when the
two VMs are actually the same VM and when the two VMs are the guest
and its stubdomain. We need to expand these exceptions to handle
properly save restore issues: this patch adds to the exceptions the
case when two VMs are the same VM because of save\restore races, and
when two VMs are the guest and the stubdomain of the previous guest,
again during save\restore.
