Michal Orzel b8be19ce43 xen/arm: domain_build: Fix format specifiers in map_{dt_}irq_to_domain()
IRQ is of unsigned type so %u should be used. When printing domain id,
%pd should be the correct format to maintain the consistency.

Also, wherever possible, reduce the number of split lines for printk().

Michal Orzel c07365f189 xen/arm: smmuv3: Advertise coherent table walk if supported
At the moment, even in case of a SMMU being I/O coherent, we clean the
updated PT as a result of not advertising the coherency feature. SMMUv3
coherency feature means that page table walks, accesses to memory
structures and queues are I/O coherent (refer ARM IHI 0070 E.A, 3.15).

Follow the same steps that were done for SMMU v1,v2 driver by the commit:
080dcb781e

The same restrictions apply, meaning that in order to advertise coherent
table walk platform feature, all the SMMU devices need to report coherency
feature. This is because the page tables (we are sharing them with CPU)
are populated before any device assignment and in case of a device being
behind non-coherent SMMU, we would have to scan the tables and clean
the cache.

It is to be noted that the SBSA/BSA (refer ARM DEN0094C 1.0C, section D)
requires that all SMMUv3 devices support I/O coherency.

Michal Orzel ed6b7c0266 automation: xilinx: Add GEM passthrough test
Being able to access a real board with real resources gives a great
opportunity to finally test passthroughing devices to guests. Therefore,
create a new Xilinx job to test GEM (Gigabit Ethernet MAC) controller
passthrough to a dom0less domU.

By passing "gem-passthrough" as a test variant, the test will instruct
the ImageBuilder to use "eth0.dtb" (passthrough dtb stored under tftp
server root) as a guest dtb and to add "xen, passthrough" dtb property to
"/amba/ethernet@ff0e0000" node. The guest itself will try to bringup
the network interface, obtain dynamically IP address and ping the default

Michal Orzel 1213ebfb9f xen/arm: vpl011: Do not try to handle TX FIFO status when backend in Xen
>From vpl011_rx_char_xen(), we call vpl011_data_avail() that handles both
RX and TX state. Because we are passing 0 as out_fifo_level and
SBSA_UART_FIFO_SIZE as out_size, we end up calling a function
vpl011_update_tx_fifo_status() which performs TXI bit handling
depending on the FIFO trigger level. This does not make sense when backend
is in Xen, as we maintain a single TX state where data can always be
written and as such there is no TX FIFO handling. Furthermore, this
function assumes that the backend is in domain by making use of struct
xencons_interface unconditionally. Fix it by calling this function only
when backend is in domain. Also add an assert for sanity.

Michal Orzel d3784f16bb xen/arm: vpl011: Handle correctly TXFE when backend in Xen
When backend is in Xen, the handling of data written to DR register is a
bit special because we want to tell guest that we are always ready for new
data to be written (i.e. no real FIFO, TXFF/BUSY never set and TXI always
set). This conflicts with the current handling of TXFE bit, which we
always clear and never set on a write path (we happen to set it when we
receive char from serial input due to use of vpl011_data_avail() but this
might never be called). This can lead to issues if a guest driver makes
use of TXFE bit to check for TX transmission completion (such guest could
then wait endlessly). Fix it by keeping TXFE always set to match the
current emulation logic.

Michal Orzel 08bbc1c02d xen/arm: vpl011: Fix domain_vpl011_init error path
When vgic_reserve_virq() fails and backend is in domain, we should also
free the allocated event channel.

When backend is in Xen and call to xzalloc() returns NULL, there is no
need to call xfree(). This should be done instead on an error path
from vgic_reserve_virq(). Moreover, we should be calling XFREE() to
prevent an extra free in domain_vpl011_deinit().

In order not to repeat the same steps twice, call domain_vpl011_deinit()
on an error path whenever there is more work to do than returning rc.
Since this function can now be called from different places and more
than once, add proper guards, use XFREE() instead of xfree() and move
vgic_free_virq() to it.

Take the opportunity to return -ENOMEM instead of -EINVAL when memory
allocation fails.

Michal Orzel c2581c58be xen/console: skip switching serial input to non existing domains
At the moment, we direct serial input to hardware domain by default.
This does not make any sense when running in true dom0less mode, since
such domain does not exist. As a result, users wishing to write to
an emulated UART of a domU are always forced to execute CTRL-AAA first.
The same issue is when rotating among serial inputs, where we always
have to go through hardware domain case. This problem can be elaborated
further to all the domains that no longer exist.

Modify switch_serial_input() so that we skip switching serial input to
non existing domains. Take the opportunity to define and make use of
macro max_console_rx to make it clear what 'max_init_domid + 1' means
in the console code context. Also, modify call to printk() to use correct
format specifier for unsigned int.

For now, to minimize the required changes and to match the current
behavior with hwdom, the default input goes to the first real domain.
The choice is more or less arbitrary since dom0less domUs are supposedly
equal. This will be handled in the future by adding support in boot time
configuration for marking a specific domain preferred in terms of
directing serial input to.

Michal Orzel e6e92adf47 build: run targets cscope,tags,... using tree-wide approach
Despite being a matter of taste, in general, there are two main approaches
when dealing with code tagging: tree-wide, where all the sources are taken
into account or config-wide, when considering Kconfig options and actually
built files. At the moment, all_sources variable is defined using SUBDIRS,
which lists all the directories except arch/, where only $(TARGET_ARCH)
is taken into account. This makes it difficult to reason about and creates
fuzzy boundaries being a blocker when considering new directories that
might be config-dependent (like crypto/ which is missing in SUBDIRS).

For now, switch to the intermediate solution to list all the directories
in SUBDIRS without exceptions (also include crypto/). This way, the
approach taken is clear allowing new directories to be listed right away
without waiting to fix the infrastructure first. In the future, we can
then add support for config-wide approach.

Michal Orzel 6d317b10f8 xen/arm: Add support for booting gzip compressed uImages
At the moment, Xen does not support booting gzip compressed uImages.
This is because we are trying to decompress the kernel before probing
the u-boot header. This leads to a failure as the header always appears
at the top of the image (and therefore obscuring the gzip header).

Move the call to kernel_uimage_probe before kernel_decompress and make
the function self-containing by taking the following actions:
 - take a pointer to struct bootmodule as a parameter,
 - check the comp field of a u-boot header to determine compression type,
 - in case of compressed image, call kernel_decompress passing uImage
header size as an offset to gzip header,
 - set up zimage.{kernel_addr,len} accordingly,
 - return -ENOENT in case of a u-boot header not found to distinguish it
amongst other return values and make it the only case for falling
through to try to probe other image types.

Modify kernel_decompress to take an additional parameter being an offset
to a gzip header from start address. This is needed so that a function
can first operate on a region containing actually compressed kernel (in case
of compressed uImage, size of u-boot header is an offset to a gzip header)
and then at the end pass the entire region (as it was before taking an offset
into account) to fw_unreserved_regions for freeing.

This approach avoids splitting the uImage probing into 2 stages (executed
before and after decompression) which otherwise would be necessary to
properly parse header, update boot module start and size before
decompression and update zimage.{kernel_addr,len} afterwards.

Remove the limitation from the booting.txt documentation.

Introduce support for using XTF on Arm to perform low-level testing.
For the purpose of the CI testing, let's use the fork [1] from upstream
XTF with implemented support for arm64 (the upstream XTF only supports
x86).

Add a new script under automation/scripts to be used by the CI XTF test
jobs to perform the following tasks:
 - Compiling XTF,
 - Generating u-boot script using ImageBuilder,
 - Running Xen with XTF as domU in pure dom0less configuration using Qemu,
 - Checking test result.

The script takes the name of the XTF test to run as a first parameter.

Michal Orzel 8d30b9e32c xen/arm: Do not route NS phys timer IRQ to Xen
At the moment, we route NS phys timer IRQ to Xen even though it does not
make use of this timer. Xen uses hypervisor timer for itself and the
physical timer is fully emulated, hence there is nothing that can trigger
such IRQ. This means that requesting/releasing IRQ ends up as a deadcode
as it has no impact on the functional behavior, whereas the code within
a handler ends up being unreachable. This is a left over from the early
days when the CNTHP IRQ was buggy on the HW model used for testing and we
had to use the CNTP instead.

Remove the calls to {request/release}_irq for this timer as well as the
code within the handler. Since timer_interrupt handler is now only used
by the CNTHP, refactor it as follows:
 - rename it to htimer_interrupt to reflect its purpose,
 - remove the IRQ affiliation test,
 - invert the condition to avoid indented code and use unlikely,
 - improve readability by adding new lines \btw code and comments.

Keep the calls to zero the CNTP_CTL_EL0 register for sanity and also
remove the corresponding perf counter definition.

To fix this issue, add custom build jobs each time there is a need for
